Pick your lineup
Choose five pieces from the muster, set them on the field, and Set out.
Six tries to crack the lineup. Win a floor, go one deeper.
A daily game in the shape of Wordle: work out which five of thirty-six residents stand in today's five slots.
Choose five pieces from the muster, set them on the field, and Set out.
Every sortie leaves a report. Green ring: right piece, right slot. Gold ring: on this floor, but not here. Gray cross: not on this floor.
Cracked slots carry into your next sortie. Break the lineup before the torch burns out — win a floor, go one deeper.
Thirty-six residents, each with their own temper. They keep unwritten rules the game will never show you — each day's reports are the only testimony. Work one out, note it in your Dungeon Codex, and tomorrow you descend a little wiser.
Meikyu borrows the daily ritual: one puzzle a day, six tries, feedback after every guess, a result to share. If you have played Wordle, you already know how a morning here begins.
What you are deducing is different. You are arranging five dungeon residents instead of five letters; the feedback is only half the information, because the residents keep house rules the game never states; and every rule you prove is written into your Dungeon Codex for good. A word game resets every midnight — this dungeon remembers.
Every resident of the deep has a face in here. Knowing them is the first step to coming back alive.
